What is Toyota Rent a Car?
Toyota Rent a Car (TRAC) is a vehicle rental system available only through Toyota dealers. Toyota designed TRAC so that Toyota dealers would be able to offer quality rentals to their customers—from service or insurance replacement vehicles to retail rentals for weekend test-drives or extended travel plans. TRAC has been in operation in the U.S. since 1989 and worldwide for over 40 years. It operates in over 30 countries and is the number-one rental car company in Japan.

Why should I choose TRAC instead of another rental company?
Unlike other rental companies, TRAC is Toyota dealer based. This means that not only do you have an opportunity to rent the latest model Toyota, but you get the quality customer service of a conveniently located Toyota dealer who wants to make you a customer for life.

Are TRAC rates competitive with other rental agencies?
Yes, they are. Toyota dealers are committed to satisfying current and prospective Toyota owners. We are able to provide very competitive rates since the vehicle and the facility are part of an existing Toyota dealership. Check with our TRAC department for current rates.

Can I rent a vehicle at dealer "A" and return it to another location?
At this time, the vehicle must be returned to the Toyota Rent a Car dealership where it was rented. Check with our TRAC department about off-site pickup services.

Can I rent any Toyota vehicle?
Most of Toyota's Rent a Car fleet vehicles are Camry and Corolla models. However, more and more participating dealers have Avalons, 4Runners, Trucks, Siennas, Prius and other models available for rental. Please check with your local TRAC dealer for available models.

Can I buy the vehicle I am renting?
Definitely. Toyota Rent a Car vehicles are available to purchase after their short four-month stint in the TRAC program. Please check with our TRAC department for details.

Can I take the vehicle I rented into Mexico or Canada?
Toyota Rent a Car vehicles are allowed in the continental United States, Alaska and Canada. TRAC vehicles are not covered in Mexico.

Are there age restrictions on the person renting the Toyota?
Yes. You must be at least 21 years of age to rent a Toyota vehicle in this program.

Are there any other restrictions?
You need a valid driver's license and proof of full coverage insurance at the time of rental.
